The rapid advance of medical imaging devices that produce proprietary file formats and the proliferation of digital cameras and smartphones in clinical practice have made storing everything in a DICOM archive outdated. The arccCore VNA stores all images in their native and clinically significant formats. This includes DICOM and non-DICOM or proprietary image files..

EMR Integration

Clinicians are able to mark images and other clinical multimedia for viewing within the EMR through the exchange of data via HL7 interfaces. Apollo’s arcc not only integrates with the major EMRs but also to leading lab information systems and other departmental clinical information systems. Apollo supports interfacing to the EMR through various workflows including orders, unsolicited orders, notes, and ‘on-demand’ access.
